Vietnam – discover the land of the ascending dragon

In these days it’s only one more year to go until the world of choirs will be meeting for the 5th time already for the choir competition in Hoi An, for the event that INTERKULTUR has established being the first international choir competition in the history of Vietnam.

Meanwhile the event is one of the most popular among the INTERKULTUR series of choral events and starting point for a unique meeting of singers combined with an unforgettable cultural experience. Starting with the spectacular opening show featuring Vietnamese songs and traditional dragon dances to present the culture of the city of Hoi An and of Vietnam to the international audience, cultural highlights are crossing the whole event.

Hoi An’s historic old town is also a scenic background for many choral activities that the event program includes: From evening Friendship Concerts according to the slogan “International Melody” in the old town, which is illuminated by colorful lampion at that time, to the great international choir parade through the narrow streets, where choirs present their national flags and songs to local residents and tourists.

But also the competition of the event has a very special flair: As always the performances will take place nearby the sea in the Hoi An Beach Resort – a wonderful relaxing background for exciting competition days.

And also friends of local delicacies won’t miss a thing at the event: The choir party at the closing evening is a culinary highlight and offers the full range of Vietnamese local delights.
