SING FOR GOLD 2024: Spectacular Finale in Calella
Vocal Ensemble "Fortissimo" from Bulgaria wins the World Choral Cup 2024
The stage in Calella was set for an unforgettable celebration as the World Choral Cup 2024 reached its thrilling finale. Eight choirs that had earned top honors in various competition categories during SING FOR GOLD in Calella and Barcelona competed head-to-head for the prestigious World Choral Cup. Finalists were:
- Bulgarian Voices Berlin e.V., Germany
- Maîtrise de Seine-Maritime, France
- SAULĖS VAIKAI, Lithuania
- Tbilisis Sakhelmtsipo Universitetis Studenturi Kapela, Georgia
- Vocal Ensemble "Fortissimo", Bulgaria
- Vocal Group No Romeo's, Netherlands
- Voces del Sol, Peru
- Young Voices, Slovakia
Each of these choirs brought their best to the stage, moving the audience with powerful and expressive renditions of their selected pieces. After careful deliberation, the international jury selected three outstanding choirs to advance to the final round: Bulgarian Voices Berlin e.V., Voces del Sol and Vocal Ensemble "Fortissimo".
This last round was full of musical excellence, tension and emotions again, making the jury's decision a challenging one.
Ultimately, Vocal Ensemble "Fortissimo" from Bulgaria was announced as the winner of the World Choral Cup 2024!
In addition to the World Choral Cup winner, the following choirs became Category Winners in their respective competition categories. Congratulations to:

Looking ahead, the next edition of SING FOR GOLD is already in the works and will take place from October 22–26, 2026, once again in Calella and Barcelona.
