"Canta al mar" comes to a successful close
Cheering and tears of joy at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday evening
Already for the 8th time 34 choirs from 18 nations celebrated from October 23-27 one of the most popular choir events of the INTERKULTUR event series: The international choir competition Canta al mar brought singers from all over the world together not only for competitions but also for highlights like Calella Sings and the Fiesta de la Amistad.
During the Award Ceremony on Sunday evening, the results were announced and a total of 32 Golden and 15 Silver Diplomas were awarded. Best choir in the competition became the choir Lommelerkene from Norway with a total of 25,33 points in category Sacred Choral Music a cappella. Congratulations!
