Academy Singers - the proud winners of Grado

"Isola del Sole" ends with a fantastic Grand Prize Competition

The Academy Singers from Austria are the Grand Prize Winners at the "Isola del Sole - International Choir Competition & Festival" in Grado, Italy. In the final competition of the best choirs they convinced the international jury and were awarded the prize - endowed with 1500 Euros. Congratulations!

In the Awards Ceremony all choirs learned the results of their competition performances.

Further the jurors decided to award two Special Prizes to outstanding achievements: E STuudio Children`s Choir from Estonia received a prize for their outstanding performance of Karl Jenkins' "Rain Dance" and the Italian choir Coro Voci Bianchi Voceincanto was awarded the Special Prize "Orlando Dipiazza" for their outstanding program selection regarding pedagogical and didactical aspects particularly suitable to the age of the performers.
