World Choir Games 2018

11:00 at the Aula of the University of Pretoria the first competition category starts: South Africa, China, Gabon and other countries compete in category O25 – Folklore a cappella. An excellent opportunity to travel the world and indulge in other cultures while remaining in South Africa.

14:00 at the Desmond Abernethy Hall (Boys High) the stage is set for the youngest participants of the World Choir Games - Children’s Choirs, who are much loved by the audience, present the results of their hard work to the jurors and choral music lovers from all parts of the world.

19:30 at the Opera Theatre (in State Theatre) spirits will rise high when Scenic Pop choirs spark passion and enthusiasm with their barnstorming performance. As experience shows these acts regularly sweep the audience off their feet, so get ready to jump up and join in!

19:30 University of Pretoria - Aula: The host choir of the World Choir Games 2018, University of Pretoria Camerata, presents its outstanding, world class skills at a Celebration Concert. It will share the stage with other high level choirs from Russia, Indonesia and South Africa. 

19:30 Universiteitsoord: The second Celebration Concert of the day presents ensembles from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Norway, South Africa and South Korea. Relish top choirs and their outstanding performances which earned them medals, honors and cheers.
