INTERKULTUR is pleased to introduce some choirs, which will attend the biggest choral event worldwide: The World Choir Games in Sochi 2016.

Some choirs acquired a lot of stage experience through their participation in different choral competitions – other choirs just starting to gain this experience, including the Solovushki junior choir from Russia. The choir will compete as youngest group in the competition category O1 Young Children’s Choirs, one of 29 possible categories.

Solovushki is the junior choir which is a part of the children choral studio from the Children and Youth Development Center. It's located in the resort city Gelendzhik by the Black Sea Coast. The choral studio has existed for 20 years besides the membership of the junior choir constantly changes. The membership in this choir has been updated in 2014 that's why it is not experienced in the international competitions. However, some members of this choir performed in the World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia (2014). Moreover, they have been invited to perform in the cultural program in the World Olympic Games held in Sochi in 2014.

We are looking forward, that also the youngest singers will visit Sochi. And we are quite sure that they will acquire and take home a lot of valuable experiences during the World Choir Games.
