More Champions announced at the Asia Pacific Choir Games

Asia Pacific Choir Games 2017

With the second Awards Ceremony at Temple Trees and the following Closing Concert the 4th Asia Pacific Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations Colombo 2017 came to a festive close in Sri Lanka tonight. 

As always at an INTERKULTUR event, the Awards Ceremony marked the emotional highlight of the event. Listening to the announcement of results, waiting for the own scores, celebrating the own and the others' achievements, singing the national anthem and seeing the national flag being raised - all of this fulfilled the hall at Temple Trees with cheers, joy, and tears of emotion.

Asia Pacific Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations Colombo 2017 - Results

All in all 19 Gold Medals and 4 Silver Medals were awarded to choirs that competed in the Grand Prix of Nations Colombo 2017 and 31 Gold Medals and 11 Silver Medals were handed over in the Asia Pacific Champions Competition. The Open Competition brought out a total of 26 Gold Diplomas, 37 Silver Diplomas and 2 Bronze Diplomas.
