Results from THE OPEN COMPETITION announced in Tshwane
On July 07, 2018, the first Award Ceremony of the 10th World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa made the city’s Sun Arena resound with the joy and applause of the cheering singers who participated in The Open Competition. Gold, Silver and Bronze Certificates were awarded to the choirs as the well-deserved reward for their strenuous rehearsal work.

The Open Competition of the first part of the World Choir Games awarded 42 Gold, 53 Silver and 2 Bronze Diplomas and 11 category winners altogether. The host country South Africa scored 25 Gold, 34 Silver and 1 Bronze Diploma and records the most Category Winners (4), followed by 2 Category Winners by the future World Choir Games 2020 host country Belgium.
