A charity concert for Tshwane's most needy

First Annucal Mayoral Legacy Concert on Sunday

World Choir Games 2018

The World Choir Games 2018 are a global celebration of choral music and aim to highlight the richness and diversity of African choral music. More than 160 choirs from Africa are part of this event altogether and 20 of them, who origin from the South African Development Community, will bring the uniqueness of their choral culture on stage on July 8, 2018 at the SUN Arena for a certain reason: To make the African philosophy of life Ubuntu (humanity) come alive.

Therefore tickets can’t be purchased the ordinary way: Choral music lovers can only enter to this unique concert by donating either a pair of shoes, or a blanket, or a toiletry bag which will be distributed to Sun International’s CSI programmes and the City of Tshwane’s most needy.

The concert also welcomes ambassadors from Africa, mayors from African cities, business representatives and music lovers from around Tshwane and beyond. The city of Tshwane, Sun International and Pretoria News join their forces to bring this musical highlight on the city’s stage and develop an annual event from this point of origin.
