Further TV productions are being planned

INTERKULTUR leads intensive discussions with TV stations and TV producers.

Since the World Choir Games 2008 one insight proved right: Choir music is not austere and boring but it inspires! Participants, audience and - TV viewers. In July 2008, the ORF produced together with INTERKULTUR a successful 90-minute TV show which has meanwhile being broadcasted in a range of countries. Only a few days ago DK4, a nationwide Danish programme, announced the purchase of the TV gala. The show „We are the World!“ presents inspiring scenes of vivacious choir music and demonstrates what kind of bridges choir music can build. The show achieves good TV market quotas worldwide and receives a huge number of positive feedback by the audience.

The experiences that INTERKULTUR gains with its increasing TV activities are very helpful fur current discussions about future projects. A further documentary about the World Choir Games is already being planned on the basis of international contacts. The cinematic realisation of European, Asian and American choir events is also a current subject of intensive discussions. INTERKULTUR is confident that first production agreements can be settled soon.
