INTERKULTUR provides support in Croatia

2nd Ars Choralis Symposium 2012

From April 12 to 14 the 2nd Ars Choralis Symposium 2012 is taking place in Zagreb, Croatia. It’s organized by the Croatian Choral Conductors Association (HUZ). INTERKULTUR is a sponsor of the event.

Several speakers from all around the world will be there, guest of honor is Jonathan Velasco, President of the Philippines Choral Directors Association (PCDA). He and his international colleagues give lectures on topics like conducting, composing, on various categories like Musica Sacra and on music methods. It’s a wide range of topics that serve especially the intensive exchange of ideas in the community of choir singers and conductors.

INTERKULTUR is happy to support the symposium in Zagreb in April 2012. “Following the successful work at the 1st International Course for Choir Conductors in Malaysia in November 2011 we’d like to appreciate and support the work of HUZ again,” says INTERKULTUR President Günter Titsch.

INTERKULTUR provides pedagogical offers on its own as well. The next project from this series is taking place in Guangzhou, China. From March 12 to 17, 2012 Chinese choir conductors will meet their needs in different seminars on Western choral music, please find here more information on contents and lecturers.

Also a particularly wide range of workshops and seminars will be offered during the 7th World Choir Games in Cincinnati USA (July 4 to 14, 2012).
