Monterey welcomes individual singers
Workshop registration is also open to individual participants
Are you passionate singers or choral lovers and come from the San Francisco region? Then watch out! During the Golden State Choral Trophy in Monterey this fall not only the participating choirs will benefit from two internationally recognized choral experts – the musician, conductor and clinician Vijay Singh and the composer Morten Lauridsen – as well as individual singers like you and me.
During a first workshop in Monterey Vijay Singh will teach on Vocal Jazz and Pop Group singing including repertoire, technique, rhythm and other style elements. Morten Lauridsen will specifically discuss the interpretation of his own works and offer a deep insight into his work as a composer.
Both workshops are part of the choir festival Golden State Choral Trophy, that will welcome from November 20 to 24, 2016 choirs from all over the world in Monterey. You want to be part of it?
