100 registrations for Linz!

The Florida College Chorus brings total festival attendees in the event's history into the three digit area

Anton Bruckner Choir Competition and Festival

INTERKULTUR is pleased about the altogether 100th registration in the history of the popular International Anton-Bruckner-Choir Competition and Festival to be held again next in 2017  from June 14-18 in the beautiful city of Linz, Austria.

Choir number 100 is called "The Florida College Chorus" and comes from the USA. The 42 young singers have been able to benefit from the early booking discount, which will end next Monday, October 31, 2016.

In the USA, the Florida College Chorus is known for its excellent passion for music, which the choir presents at its concerts. For more than 70 years the choir has been the voice of the Florida College. At concerts all over the world, the young singers and their conductor Jon Bassett, present a wide range of music, both sacred and secular.

Since 2007, the International Anton Bruckner Choir Competition and Festival has been held every two years and since then choirs from all parts of the world have been enthusiastic about singing on the traces of the great composer Anton Bruckner. Next year INTERKULTUR and the city of Linz invite to the competition in the Upper Austrian Bruckner-town already for the sixth time and look forward to intercultural encounters with The Florida College Chorus and many other choirs!
