Choir conductor for one day?

Support the Crowdfunding Project of Neuer Kammerchor Berlin!

Choir Games

Travelling to the World Choir Games in South Africa requires creative ways of digging up money for travel costs and other expenses. The Neuer Kammerchor Berlin (Berlin New Chamber Choir) from Germany thus started a crowdfunding campaign for South Africa which includes not only an emotional video appeal but also interesting give aways and presents which can be purchased for a donation. Taking over the choir as the choir’s conductor is one of the options available, as well as getting small presents from the trip, a WhatsApp Happy Birthday Song or a private concert at home.

Up to now the “choir’s biggest challenge” is within reach and INTERKULTUR is looking forward to welcoming the 20 singers in Tshwane, South Africa in July where they will have the opportunity to “carry their music into the world”, as conductor Adrian Emans mentions in the video.

The Neuer Kammerchor Berlin was founded in 2016 and is made up of choral music students from the University of the Arts Berlin, graduates from vocal programs, and other singers with extensive choral experience. This collaboration makes for a professional approach to the music. The Neuer Kammerchor Berlin has taken on an ambitious a cappella repertoire which includes choral works from several different epochs, ranging from the literature of the Renaissance to the choral works of the classical modern.
