Wherever you look…
Let World Choir Games come!
Next July and World Choir Games are coming for sure! During the last week some INTERKULTUR representatives visited the U.S. choir city, Cincinnati.
In the last days they kept appointments, visited different venues and rehearsal rooms for the last time and even listened to a minute by minute account of the Opening Ceremony.
The bell has already been casted and cooled down, a new translation tool (Globili) will ensure a better orientation in the city and the May Festival Chorus, which is one of the choirs to perform at the Opening Cermony, is currently getting in the mood for July at Cincinnati May Festival. Also the medals have been presented to the public. And who doesn’t want to have a curved clef symbol hanging from the neck at the Awarding Ceremony when the medals are handed out?
Just 44 days to go to Cincinnati to the 7th World Choir Games 2012 from July 4 to 14!
This competition is held every two years on different continents. This year it takes place in the United States for the first time ever, in 2014 it will go back to Europe, in Riga (Latvia).
