New office in Tirana

INTERKULTUR in Albania now

New choral center opens

Starting today INTERKULTUR is available for interested choirs also in Tirana, Albania. The newly opened choral center is the first one of its kind. Three staff members will be open for any questions and inform singers about INTERKULTUR competitions around the globe.

Gent Lazri, Director International Choral Networking, is delighted: “We’ve created something completely new and now we’ve got the opportunity to talk directly to choirs, off from daily business.”

Lazri, a native born Albanian, set up the choral center, as he’s familiar with the warm and friendly character of the people in his home country. A three person team will be working here. Each of the new colleagues knows several foreign languages, as French, English, Italian and German. Best conditions to build up and strengthen contacts in neighbouring countries and beyond. Singers may even contact the colleagues in the choral center themselves to be informed about INTERKULTUR events. The service number will shortly be published here.

Next year six competitions will bring choirs on the world’s stages, beginning in April with Concorso Corale Internazionale in Riva del Garda, Italy. INTERKULTUR has been organizing international choral competitions and festivals since more than 20 years, amongst them the well-known World Choir Games. Please find information about further competitions here.
