Voices of Unity approach their project of the year with a lot of energy

Verve, commitment and ambition – the Voices of Unity from the U.S. tackle their “venture Shaoxing” with great personal involvement of each individual. In keeping with the self-conception of the Unity Performing Arts Foundation (UPAF) the singers from Fort Wayne in the US state of Indiana assume directly a responsibility for their project of the year. Already for month the search for sponsors and patrons has been on the agenda of the Dreams of Gold Choir Olympic Campaign. Creating networks and identifying trends the “Voices” are on the internet with an event-oriented website. Here is to find out in detail, who they are and which targets they pursue. Emotions become perceptible. They also reveal how many efforts are still lying ahead. “Something big is on the way!” they use to say, when they talk about the World Choir Games. In all appearances of the campaign it is obvious that they are very excited to have the opportunity to perform on the “world stage” of choir music soon.

The Voices of Unity arised from the first artistic programme of the UPAF, the Youth Choral Program of the year 2000. Since January 2010 is has been clear that they will travel to China for the 6th World Choir Games. There, together with other choirs from the United States, they will be representatives of their country and their region. The 7th World Choir Games will take place in July 2012 in the city of Cincinnati in the neighbouring state
of Ohio.
