Cincinnati Reds thank the volunteers

World Choir Games volunteers get together again at Baseball game

On July 14, 2012 the 7th World Choir Games in Cincinnati (WCG) came to a close. Just like all participating choirs a total of 4600 volunteers from Cincinnati and its environs made sure that everybody had a good time during eleven days of choral music.

This week they got together again for a Cincinnati Reds Baseball game. Several thousand volunteers had come and got to walk around the field before the game while the World Choir Games video “Best of Part 2” played on the scoreboard. The stadium announcer didn’t tire of thanking all volunteers of the 7th WCG, and he announced the next World Choir Games 2014 in Riga, Latvia. The audience was thrilled. The atmosphere almost reminded of the World Choir Games Month July.

We’d like to thank again all volunteers again as well. The 2012 WCG were a great success for both singers and visitors, not least through your help! We hope to see many of you again in Riga for the 8th World Choir Games from July 9 to 19, 2014. It’s just 100 weeks away!
