Orkestra Nazzjonali invites choirs

From November 3 to 7, 2011, the famous International Choir Competition & Festival Malta takes place.
As INTERKULTUR informs, oratorio choirs may attend the festival and perform at concerts with orchestral accompaniment by the Orkestra Nazzjonali Malta. Medleys of famous oratorio pieces and popular works
are sought after.

All choirs focussing on oratorio or being familiar with oratorio works in their repertoire are invited to take part. Based on past experiences many choirs remember the Orkestra Nazzjonali for years to come, which promises thrilling moments for the future. The Orkestra Nazzjonali, originally known as Manoel Theatre Orchestra, is very popular with young and old.

This concert is a famous highlight at the biennial choir festival. Singers make an amazing contribution with a self-selected piece under the direction of the own choir conductor.
