Event is moving closer and closer

The tension rises: The 1st World Choir Championships for Youth and Young Adults and the 2nd Grand Prix of Choral Music in Graz are moving closer and closer.

In July the singers from most different nations will be giving a brand-new face to the city in the course of both choir events and dominating the cityscape in a
musical manner.

During the days of the event the beautiful city at the Mur River provides many opportunities to participants to explore its environs, away from competitions, rehearsals and performances.
Every week there are some tips given in the series “Countdown to Graz” on the INTERKULTUR Blog.

As Dieter Hardt-Stremayr, CEO of Graz Tourismus, announced people are looking forward very much to meeting the international guests in next July.

The 1st World Choir Championships for Youth and Young Adults and the 2nd Grand Prix of Choral Music are taking place in Graz, Austria from July 10 to 17, 2011.

The capital of Styria was host city of the 5th World Choir Games in 2008 already.
