The Grand Prix Winners have been announced
Best choirs of the competition in the Chamber Music Hall of the Berliner Philharmonie
The winners of the Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017 were just announced after four wonderful festival days and a lot of competition concerts.
All 30 participating choirs gathered for the Awards Ceremony in the Chamber Music Hall, to wait for the announcement of their competitions results. A mystic tension spread and every face showed hope and fear.
With the sound of the festival fanfare the points were finally read. A conductor and a choir’s representative were asked to go on stage and accept the congratulations by the organizers. The joy of the achieved results in the Open Competition and in the Grand Prix of Nations was outstanding!
A total of 21 gold, 11 silver and 1 bronze medals were awarded in the Grand Prix of Nations as well as 7 gold and 4 silver diplomas in the Open Competition. Congratulations!
