Swedish choir Bella Voce among the participants of the Choir Festival in Assisi
From April 19 to 23, 2017 the medieval town of Assisi in Italy is a meeting place for choirs from all over the world, when it says: VOICES FOR PEACE! Assisi, famous as a pilgrimage place, will be hosting the four-day International Choir Festival, which is dedicated to singing together for world peace.
Until today ensembles from Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden and from beautiful Switzerland have already registered for the Choir Festival in Italy, including the Bella Voce - Lunds studentsångerskor from the Swedish student city Lund. Under the direction of Victoria Söderberg around 36 female singers have been organizing concerts in Lund and the surrounding area since the choir’s foundation in 2000. A concert with the Norsang choir in Århus was one of the highlights in 2016.
The young female choir meanwhile belongs to Lund’s flagship ensembles. It’s strenghts are on the one hand a high artistic level as well as an open and friendly atmosphere among the singers on the other hand. It is a pleasure listening and watching the ensemble Bella Voce. Convince yourself!
