The World Choir Games feature large-scale events staged in world class venues capable of televised and live stage production.

These spectacular shows create an unforgettable atmosphere for singing a wide spectrum of music ranging from great choral-symphonic works to pop music. The official ceremonial events of the World Choir Games include opening and closing ceremonies and a spectacular concert where everyone, including the audience, joins the orchestra for a grand night of singing!

The closing ceremony of the 2012 World Choir Games will feature choirs that have applied to participate as a “stage choir” for performance only.

Stage choirs are required to independently rehearse the specified program music and arrive at The Games prepared for final dress rehearsals. Selected choirs are required to attend the World Choir Games for 5 days to fulfill the required rehearsal schedule.
