"Sing’n’joy Vienna" – Singing and joy is the slogan of the 28th International  Franz Schubert Choir Competition taking place from 13.-17. June 2012. With this name INTERKULTUR concurrently presents a new event concept which includes the traditional Schubert Competition as the central part of the event but also allows concerts and manifold encounters between the participating choirs. The competitions will be taking place in the famous Viennese concert hall. Another highlight: Participants have the possibility to get involved in the performance of the Coronation Mass by Mozart. In order to inspire even more choirs for this competition we also changed the event date. Instead of taking place in November the event will be in spring as this will be the best time to enjoy the Vienna, the capital city of music.
