Venue: Mozartsaal

Vienna also sings in the Mozart hall

Choirs are looking forward to impressive venues

In addition to the venues of the International Franz Schubert Choir Competition in the past, there will be another hall available in November 2010: the Mozart hall in the so-called Konzerthaus. This hall will be location for the competition of the category winners. INTERKULTUR was already in the past glad about the high-class event venues in Vienna giving the participants the possibility to perform in impressive buildings and halls and feels especially well placed for this special competition due to the choice of this additional venue.

The Konzerthaus Vienna belongs to the most important institutions of the international music community. It is a popular venue for the most renowned interpreters and Austrian orchestras such as the Wiener Sinfoniker or the Wiener Kammerorchester. The 27th International Franz Schubert Choir Competition will take place from 24th - 28th November 2010. The participation offers all participants the possibility to compete for the high coveted Franz Schubert Choir Prize and in addition to achieve a qualification for the Champions Competition of the World Choir Games or of the World Choir Championships. The official announcement 2010 is now available here.
