“Mr. Olympia“ becomes China’s Honorary President of the 6th World Choir Games
China’s “Mister Olympia“ gets involved once more in the direct encounter between young people from all over the world. He Zhenliang, chairman of the Commission for Culture and Olympic Education of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and one of the go-getters of the Olympic Games 2008 in Peking, has been chosen as the Honorary President of the World Choir Games 2010 in Shaoxing/China. The appointment was offered to He in Peking by Ding Xiaoyan, Vice Mayor of Shaoxing, and Günter Titsch, President of the World Choir Games, and documented with a certificate. The former Vice President of the IOC, born in Shaoxing by the way, explained his huge interest in assuming this honourable task with the ideational accordance of the Olympic and the worldwide choral movement.
