Great Closing Concert in the Chamber Music Hall of the Berliner Philharmonie

Audience can look forward to varied Closing Concert of the “Fest der Chorkulturen”

Grand Prix of Nations

We were not allowed to announce it before, but now the selection of the best choirs, which will perform in the Closing Concert of the Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017, has been  confirmed:

the audience will be able to look forward to a varied Concert Program with performances by the multiple Grand Prix winners "Kamerniy Devichiy Khor by Lysenko" from Ukraine and Gnesins' Ensemble of Contemporary Music "Altro coro" from Russia and the Norwegian women's choir "Embla".

In addition, the host of the “Fest der Chorkulturen”, the Berlin Radio Choir will once again be heard. With Schönberg's "Friede auf Erden" op. 13 for choir a cappella, the choir will say good bye to its international guests and will present the results of the Sing Along Workshop together with more than 120 singers conducted by Nicolas Fink.

When the official festival anthem "Proclamation" by Ēriks Ešenvalds with more than 1000 voices and the Berlin Radio Choir will be performed again, the final concert celebrates the festive end of the "Fest  der Chorkulturen".
