Lovely Gothenburg

A warm host for the Grand Prix of Nations & European Choir Games

European Choir Games 2019

Gothenburg is a nearly 400 years old seaport located on the Swedish west coast. It is the second largest city in Sweden with 540,000 inhabitants and a perfect backdrop for the Grand Prix of Nations Gothenburg 2019 & 4th European Choir Games from August 3-10, 2019.

Gothenburg is characterized by international style, local creativity and a natural, relaxed charm. Venues, hotels, restaurants and shops are all located within easy walking distance. The abundance of culture, entertainment and outdoor activities as well as the city’s spectacular surroundings, closeness to the sea and the stunning archipelago guarantee a whole new event experience.

Gothenburg blends a distinct feeling of charm with the pulse of modern urban life. The city is in the middle of an exciting period of infrastructural and content development but is also filled with flourishing gardens, historic sites and buildings, magnificent museums and the tram-rattled streets are lined with cosy cafés and restaurants.

As host city of the Grand Prix of Nations Gothenburg 2019 & 4th European Choir Games the city will give a warm welcome to singers from all over the world next year.
