Heading to America

INTERKULTUR in the U.S.

Welcome to the ACDA conventions

During this year's conventions of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), INTERKULTUR travels to various cities in the United States. As in the previous year, staff is available to visitors and to give a general impression of the international choral events to choir directors, conductors, representatives of travel agencies and tour operators. The first event of INTERKULTUR in the U.S. will be The American International Choral Festival - St. Louis 2010 in November, followed in May 2011 by The American International Choral Festival - Reno-Tahoe. "We want to be accessible for our potential participants. These meetings are a great opportunity to explain and teach our quality and standards to the people," says Matthias Timmlau of INTERKULTUR.

In Cincinnati, the host city of the 7th World Choir Games 2012, the journey through the cities of the United States will begin. The dates:

February 10 to 13: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
February 24 to 27: Cincinnati, Ohio and Reno, Nevada
March 3 to 6: Tucson, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota
