INTERKULTUR welcomes South African delegation in Germany

Choir Games

On the occasion of the 10th World Choir Games to be held from July 4-14, 2018 in Tshwane, South Africa INTERKULTUR welcomed a delegation from the host city.

Ali Mpofu (CEO of the African Cultural Development Foundation), Alta Mare (Program Director African Cultural Development Foundation) and Trish Downing (Marketing and Sponsoring) were warmly welcomed by INTERKULTUR President Titsch, Vice President Wang Qin and the entire team: "It’s a honor for us to welcome our partners here in the headquarters of INTERKULTUR and to jointly plan the next steps towards the perhaps most spectacular and colorful World Choir Games of all time! With the first Games on the African continent we can truly speak about a milestone,” said Titsch in the run-up to the visit.

In preparation for the anniversary edition of the Choir Olympics in the summer of 2018 topics like varied artistic themes as well as concrete questions of the tourist and organizational processes were discussed. Through the three-day meeting, the South African delegation got a deeper insight into the workings of the German organization – with success. “We have learned a lot about the structures and way of life of the other and can’t wait to familiarize the entire INTERKULTUR team with the treasures of South Africa,” Alta Mare was enthused at the end of the visit.
