Be prepared for Asia Pacific Choir Games

In fall 2017 INTERKULTUR is going to explore a new destination on the map of its international choir events: Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka. The 4th Asia Pacific Choir Games invite choirs from the Asia Pacific Region and from the rest of the world to sing and celebrate in peaceful competition (October 21-28, 2017).
There are three different competitions that allow choirs from all over the world and of all artistic stages to be part of it and to participate at the appropriate level. The island country Sri Lanka opens new horizons to everyone: culture and archeology enthusiasts will find world heritage sites of gigantic proportions and Buddhist and Hinduist Temples; nature and animal lovers can observe wild animals such as elephants, leopards, flamingos and whales up close.
Colombo as the capital of and largest city in Sri Lanka is an exciting mixture of trade and government buildings and a popular tourist destination. It’s a busy and vibrant place, where you experience the modern life next to colonial buildings and ruins. A perfect place to bring your country’s ancient choral traditions as well as modern Pop and Jazz tunes.
